In the past few months, it has seemed like NYC rapper Lil Tecca has been inescapable online. From making fun of the Toronto rap scene, having his bathroom become a hotspot for New York rapper’s mirror selfies, to his break out single “Count Me Out”, the young emcee is having a stellar year. His latest single, “Love No Thot” is a celebratory anthem dedicated to how far he’s come and the success he knows is not far away.

Taking inspiration from TLC’s classic “No Scrubs”, the 16-year old’s rendition of this RnB classic will guarantee his teachers won’t be mad when he stops showing up to class. Clocking in at barely over two minutes, the dancehall inspired song is so catchy it’s not fair. With the last few months seeing Tecca rise to the top of the emerging wave in New York, don’t be surprised when he takes over in the new year.
