With “Pull Up,” “Boof Pack,” “Noticed,” and “Yoppa,” Seattle’s Lil Mosey broke onto the rap scene with a flurry of hit singles. Today, with his major label debut album out, he’s solidified his place in the new wave, and you should make sure you get hip to him (if you haven’t) as a result.

Throughout Northsbest‘s 28-minute runtime, Mosey flows comfortably, and this effect gives way to an easy listen that is enjoyable as well. Given his young age (Mosey is only sixteen), this is quite impressive, and, already more melodic and “clean-sounding” than most of his peers, it seems he’s the prospects for a longer-lasting career as well.

For sure, you’ll want to give this one a listen in its entirety, and you should keep your eyes peeled (and ears pinned) for new hits from him as well.
