Atlanta’s Lil Gotit has been rising steadily and just this last week he gave us a new track, “Pop My Shit,” that absolutely bangs. On it, he works over a grimy, booming beat and his nicely paced flow fits perfectly on it. There’s nothing excessive (or extraneous) about the effort; Gotit simply plays to his strengths here, and everything turns out well as a result.
