Louisiana’s latest rap phenomenon, Sherwood Marty teamed up with Atlanta rap sensation and Quality Control artist, Lil Baby for their explosive new single and music video, “Day In My Hood.” The two southern artists have created an unfiltered and authentic record to show the world what a day in their life looks like. Sherwood’s slowed Southern drawl and Baby’s auto-tuned crooning effortlessly compliment each other on the mid-tempo alliance.
Sherwood Marty first bursted onto the scene in 2016 with his breakthrough mixtape, Stuck in the Trenches: Self Made Vol. 1, which featured an appearance from the late, Da Real Gee Money.  Just last month, Sherwood teamed up with breakout Alabama lyricist OMB Peezy for their collaborative Young and Reckless mixtape, that received praise from fans and critics alike.
Sherwood’s collaboration with Lil Baby couldn’t come at a better time, after the ATLien has had massive year with co-signs from hip-hop superstars such as: Migos, Young Thug, and Gucci Mane. These two newcomers are sure to dominate the South’s undeniable music scene in 2018.
