Michigan’s underground staple “Lifeafterdeath”, delivers his new single “Paradise”. Back from hiatus, this is Lifeafterdeath’s second single leading up to the next installment in his project series “Sagas of a Fallen Angel”. With the first single being titled “No Friends”, “Paradise” keeps up the trend of Lifeafterdeath simply bringing us along and creating a window into his journey.
This time around with “Paradise”, Lifeafterdeath takes a pleasantly calmer approach and slows things down to create a celestial like atmosphere. It is always interesting when we get to see an artist so transparent with their emotions that you almost feel what they were feeling while creating it. It is also intriguing to see how he portrays this emotion compared to other artist coming out of the metro Detroit area, Lifeafterdeath sticks out like a sore thumb in the current climate of the Detroit music scene.
Coming into 2019 Lifeafterdeath made it clear he was buckling down and getting ready to really hone in on his craft and set himself apart, paving his own lane rather than conforming to the stereotypical narrative yet still packaging it in a way thats more then pleasant to listen to. Between “Sagas of a Fallen Angel Vol. 1”, the Sagas Prelude, and his recent releases, Lifeafterdeath is definitely setting the tone for whatever he is planning for the second installment of the “Sagas of a Fallen Angel” series rumored to be releasing late 2019 – early 2020. Also be prepared for his monthly singles and a possible mid summer EP we’ve seen him teasing.
In all “Paradise” is beautifully packaged and we are ready and excited to see where Lifeafterdeath’s journey takes us next!
