Levi Watson is an Atlanta raised artist who recently moved to Tokyo to work on new music, and this geographical switch in his life reflects itself very obviously in the sonic presentation of his new track “Venus Envy” that is pushed forward by a variety of synths and heavily autotuned and distorted vocals. The cosmic melodies of this track are soothing and dreamy and take you on a trip to another dimension. This instrumentation is matched wonderfully by Levi’s singing that perfectly meshes with the production. I really enjoyed this and am excited to see where Levi Watson goes next.
