Life as a rapper for La’Rixkie didn’t prove to be so easy. After signing a deal with a local record label early in his career, he quickly learned the hardships of the entertainment business. After remaining patient, the rapper was able to exit his deal, giving him the creative freedom he needed to breakout as a star.

With successful projects like iLL Summer, Almighty and much more under his belt, La’Rixkie still says that his new music is far better than anything he’s ever put out. He describes his new music as “so New Orleans,” and he looks to provide a sound that will bridge many unique genres to the city.
