I’ve made no secret of my fandom of versatile vocalist and producer Koi. The ever-evolving emcee has been a frequent figure on our feed in recent months as he continues to let loose a string of sensational self-produced singles. Now, it appears the enigmatic star is preparing for a full-length project, that he promises will be due out April 2nd.

Koi’s keen ear for production and his infectious melodies are enough to carry any track, but this will mark the first project-length effort from the emerging star. As we look forward to new material from the emerging talent, we’re content to smash the replay on his latest anthem, “Famous When U Faded” in the meantime. The conflicted new creation finds Koi coming to the realization that people’s perceptions of him can change as times and vices pass.
