When did you first get into graphic design?

I got into graphic designing when I was 12 by doing graffiti. When I was 14-16, I worked for the famous gaming/vlogging channel called FaZeClan as FaZe Jedi, which made me take graphic designin more seriously and gain a fanbase to start with.

How did you learn the basics?

I’m self taught. My family is very artistic, I’ve been interested in art/design ever since I was young and just decided to do art however I wanted; not following rules or tutorials. My mum and dad are graffiti artists and my sister is very artistically bright in clothing design and does modeling.

What software do you use?

I use Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.

Take us through your creative process.

If I’m inspired by an artist and their music, I’ll choose to use them as my muse. Then I get creative with the concept and fuse the artist with things they like or relate to.

Are you doing design full-time?

Not fully yet. I’m currently setting it all up to officially turn it from a hobby into a full time job.

How do you profit?

I profit by respect. My fanbase and viewers that give me respect for my work and time and promote it worldwide is what keeps me motivated to keep going. I make money from apparel and commissions at the moment but am opening more ways.

Was your art always based around musicians?

Nope. My art used to be graffiti based, then I did art for Call of Duty clans, and then felt like that was a waste of time with not much personal connection so I got deeper into the culture of music and was inspired to base my art around artists that I connect with.

How would you describe your initial style?

Shapes. A lot of shapes. Cartoonish but realistic at the same time. And savage.

How has your style developed?

I have gotten way more deeper with the detailing and more unpredictable. I like to shock people with art so I will continue to do that and evolve.

How would you describe your current aesthetic?

Raw, dark and evil looking. But a balance with also light, spirituality and humor. Touched up with anime, gaming and movie culture.

Have you gotten any major co-signs from rappers?

XXXTENTACION, Joey Bada$$, Scarlxrd, Logic, Ski Mask The Slump God, $uicideboy$, Trippie Redd and such have shown me a lot of respect for my work and shared it.

How were you able to build such a large following on Instagram?

XXXTentacion’s fanbase. His fanbase is so strong and so unique with sharing art and making it be seen by large fresh crowds. X’s fan pages supported me a lot in the early days and still do, they’re really open minded to creativity.

What music are you listening to nowadays?

Brockhampton, Earl Sweatshirt, Tyler The Creator, Lil Xan, King Krule, XXXTentacion, Ski Mask The Slump God, Trippie Redd, Scarlxrd and Joey Bada$$ are main picks. Lou The Human is new and dope also. I like originality.
