Kevin Krauter’s “Pretty Boy” is the ideal amount of melancholy and solace simultaneously blended into a soft rock track. Krauter’s vocals are not overbearingly despairing in any way, but they have a nearly cathartic quality as the notes seem to hang on his lips for an extra half beat, stretching the tone of his voice out for an extra dose of despondency. I really liked this track and want to dig into the Kevin Krauter catalog further.
