Kevin George has been tearing it up this year. The Island Records/Young Forever, Inc. signee has released three projects since April, and, starting next month, he’ll be embarking on his first-ever tour. Today, we’re blessed to get that third project from him, Hopeless Romantic, and, listening through it, it’s hard to think it isn’t his most mature work yet.

With previously released cuts “Call Me When You’re Sober” and “Nobody Knows You Anymore,” there’s some familiarity here, but with five new ones gracing the project, we’re given loads of new sounds as well. “You’re Just Like Your Mama” and “Perfect Timing” seem to be the standouts, but, overall, the project is greatly cohesive, so you should listen to it all.
