Straight ‘outta the heart of South Florida,  Kaixen‘s jazz-influenced sound comes to life on “Wasting Time,” a sophisticated anthem that’ll send your mind on a trip. Featuring additional vocal performances from DVWEZ and Native Youth, the emotional track reflects on patience and how such a desirable trait can easily become a crutch, especially within a relationship.

“I wrote the hook about what it feels like when you’re waiting for someone,” says Kaixen. “It can be exhausting and you just want to be straight up with that person and move on.”

“Wasting Time” is the fifth track off Kaixen’s recently released LP “Pecado,” which can be streamed via Spotify.
