Josh White continues to put together hits with astonishing ease. The versatile vocalist’s latest offering “Take It Personal” is a scathing commentary on the state of the rap game and its glorification of drug usage. Josh, however, opts for a more sophisticated approach to his artistry as he continues his extended winning streak. White emulates the slurred flow often seen in contemporary rap and bests these “junkies” as he calls them at their own game. If you’re offended by anything said in the song, that might just be the point.
