On the most recent episode of University of Chicago produced podcast ‘The Axe Files’ hosted by David Axelrod, guest Jon Stewart discussed his views on the current state of US politics, Donald Trump and the media. Almost comically, inept co-producer of the show CNN (and just about every other news media outlet) posted an article about the video focusing solely on Stewarts “stinging new round of criticism against Donald Trump”. They must have totally missed the part where Stewart discusses how many news media companies often totally miss the points of discussion, forgoing clarity in reporting for ratings. Stewart states he has heard such companies say “Trump is good for business”. Nice work CNN. None the less, it’s a great discussion with Jon Stewart who once again shows us he’s probably going to receive presidential votes in November. And check out the screenshot below of every other dumbass media network pointing out his Trump remarks.
