Jacq Maliq has been at the forefront of my radar of emerging artists since his EP Homme he released earlier this year, and since I have watched from afar as he has developed as an artist and instrumentalist. Homme showed off a great deal of Maliq’s rapping and singing skill, as well as some stellar production from the Fresno, CA artist, but on his two latest tracks “SO SURREAL” and “INNANITE” Maliq hones and showcases his great guitar skill.

“INNANITE” is, in my opinion, the more polished of the two with a strong hook and good writing. This is an interesting iteration of Maliq’s music to me, and I am very intrigued about what else he has in his production bag.
