Having listened to J-E-T-S since 2015’s “The Chants” album, it was elating to find out about a week ago that the inventive duo of producers Jimmy Edgar and Machinedrum announced the release of a brand new project titled ZOOSPA, due on May 24th via Innovative Leisure. The album will feature vocal appearances from Dawn Richard, Mykki Blanco, Rochelle Jordan, and a couple of others. Back in January, we received “Play” featuring Mykki Blanco, a bassed-out record that bangs with high octane.

Another sneak peak from the album has been released this month, this time with the rack titled “POTIONS” featuring Dawn Richard. The nature of this track plays on upbeat, summertime vibes while also withholding the same heavy hitting bass & futuristic funk known across their musical landscape. The first half of the track is fun and tidy in sound, then transitioning into a dreamy & smooth composition adorned with a collision of colorful synths and meticulous instrumental alignment.
