Well, that didn’t take long. J. Cole‘s new studio album, K.O.D. has gone platinum, with no features other than kiLL edward, who as many have pointed out, sounds quite a lot like J Cole with a different audio pitch. Nonetheless, the Carolina creative is enjoying yet another platinum plaque on what many consider an album of the year contender despite its notable Grammy nomination snub. Cole’s Dreamville squad has also enjoyed a promising year with Bas and J.I.D. each releasing acclaimed projects of their own.
