Lerbon’s newest Apple Music playlist “The Strongest” is an ode to the powerful women in his life.
Lebron James is a man of many talents. Besides his unmatched ability on the court, James maintains a bevy of interests outside of basketball.
While many are surely familiar with his litany of acting roles, James has also become somewhat of a gatekeeper for hip-hop, often posting workout videos where he can be seen blasting emerging artists’ newest singles while turning up.
These videos have, at times, propelled the songs to new heights. Now, with the assist from Apple Music, Lebron is turning his musical prowess to playlisting. His newest 62-track playlist titled “The Strongest”, is an all-female compilation that includes both contemporary names like Noname and Ella Mai, as well as iconic female vocalists of years past like Aretha Franklin and Lauryn Hill. While Lebron continues to dominate on the court, he continues to impress with musical knowledge. His latest is an ode to the many powerful women in his life and the artists that have inspired him.
