For a while now, Indiana native King Kap has been carving a lane for himself and staying diligent. Previously connected to FlyAmerica & Mark Battles, Kap has since branched out and started his own journey. Marking the start of that, he releases his new album, Far From Perfect.

At 8-tracks, the project is short in length but packed with content. Touching on such themes such as drug addiction (“Nighttime”), struggle (“Issues”) and ultimately, salvation (“Make It Out”), Far From Perfect is Kap’s most reflective work to date. With production ranging from Lo-Fi, to trap and more, the versatility on the project is obvious, and so is the progression of Kap from his last project to this.
