As we all know, too many extraordinarily impactful artists passed away this last year. Following the tragic deaths of Lil Peep and XXXTENTACION, the mothers of the respective legends have decided to release a collaborative effort entitled “Falling Down”.

The track strikes an eerie chord, especially when you realize that X contributed his part of the record following Peep’s passing, as is apparent when he proclaims “Now let’s do this one for Peep” at the beginning. Each of them had a limitless influence on the world when they were here, and those influences that will live on forever.

Gus (Peep) sings the somber choruses and Jahseh (X) adds a heartfelt verse and spoken words that touch on the human tendency to gravitate towards art after the artist is gone. Take a moment to honor two of the greatest of our generation by listening to “Falling Down” below.
