It appears at long last, cooler heads have prevailed between the two Atlanta pillars.
In an era where it’s easy to get caught up in any of the numerous “beefs” consuming headlines, it’s important we also acknowledge when two artists take the time to talk through their differences, in the hopes of continuing to collaborate. Such is the case for Atlanta icons Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane, the two were close in the years leading up to 201o even releasing a joint project and numerous songs while Flocka was signed to Gucci’s 1017 Bricksquad label.
After the two grew distant over the years that had past, Waka recently took to the gram to express interest in squashing things with Gucci, and in a recent interview with Atlanta’s 94.5 Gucci confirmed that a conversation had taken place and that indeed, “Everything’s in the past now”.
Watch the clip below and keep scrolling for a Waka and Gucci throwback. We can only hope to hear the two come together for another track soon.
