Guapdad 4000 is the North Star amongst all the others that make up his constellation of a debut album, Dior Deposits. Earlier this year, the Oakland rapper earned a spot on three songs on Revenge of the Dreamers III, a project that helped him gain exposure and ultimately made him a platinum-recording artist.

Dior Deposits comes two years after his first mixtape, Scamboy Color. Between then and now he has been steady releasing singles, appearing on his homies’ tracks (i.e. “Shameless” by Buddy, ROTD3, etc.), and even vlogging.
This new album sits at 13-tracks and includes a plethora of guest vocals, which is almost the opposite of his first project. An album with a bunch of features doesn’t sit well with many fans, as the extra support can overshadow the main artist as well as question their ability to deliver independently. However, Guapdad has created enough of an image for himself for this not to happen. He still embraces his scammer tendencies and makes it known all throughout the album. The production is bouncy, and each song is something different.
I know a bop when I hear one, and there’s no doubt that there’s a few on here. Checkout Guapdad 4000’s debut album, Dior Deposits, below to find out.
