GOON DES GARCONS gets sinister for his latest two-part cinematic production.
GOON DES GARCONS* goes into isolation mode in his latest single, “Dancing In The Rain”. Moving from Little Rock, Arkansas, living in LA can bring both highlights and lowlights, and GDG* is only further recognizing his position as an outsider in the West Coast lifestyle.
Backstabbing and fake handshakes have grown old, and GOON has found himself more isolated than ever. As he reaches this conclusion, “Dancing In The Rain” morphs into a soul sample while GDG* climbs out of the dark depths of the first half of the song.
The David Arteaga video comes packaged in two cinematic parts, which are both parts disorienting and sinister. The visuals react pair perfectly with the IDLE KID production, changing both scenery and mood with the two-part production. All in all, GOON DES GARCONS is churning out art at a high level, while staying true to himself, for better or worse.
