Crash-landing on our pages today are genre-bending collective, Tank And The Bangas. Since winning NPR’s nationwide Tiny Desk contest in 2017 with their mesmerizing single “Quick“.

Their latest release, “Spaceships” finds the group swiftly shifting from hip-hop to jazz and just about every other genre on the spectrum as they gear up for their upcoming sophomore album, their first since 2013’s Think Tank.

 Their current release finds the band day-dreaming during their 9-5’s, a relatable feeling for many. The vibrant video finds the New Orleans Quintet at their creative heights and has us hyped for their upcoming album, expected to be released in early 2019.
