It would be extremely difficult to find someone who raps and isn’t at least reverent to the movement that was Death Row Records. Freddie Gibbs took time to show his appreciation, releasing the video for “Death Row” off of his latest, self-titled album. He brought along the incarcerated 03Greedowho turned himself in for drug and gun charges and will face 20-year sentences. It was all love for Gibbs though, who started the video with the popular hashtag “#Free03Greedo.” Greedo, later on, interpolates the classic track “Boyz-n-the-Hood” by the legendary Eazy E.

Gibbs, a native of Gary, Indiana shows off his effortless flow over a bass-heavy creation by Kenny Beats. He rocks a throwback Seattle Sonics Shawn Kemp jersey and an edited version of a MAGA hat, only it says “Make A Nigga President Again.” He rides around town and smokes up with Greedo as they celebrate being on the West Coast and all it has done for Hip Hop.
