South London’s Flohio’s new video for “Hell Bent” is an equally important and impressive display of youthful angst and rebellious energy. Over a very trappy instrumental, she delivers very technically sound verses and an exciting hook, which is a very difficult thing to accomplish oftentimes for artists who shine with their lyrically dense bars. Her ad-libs mixed with the inflections in the beat helps make the hook even more exciting by creating a more chaotic atmosphere for her words to break through.
