With “Leave Me Alone,” Brooklyn rapper Flipp Dinero catapulted onto the rap scene. To date, the track has over 100 million plays (alone) on Spotify, and it helped net him a label deal with indie Cinematic Music Group and major Epic Records as well.
This past Friday, Flipp released yet another track following the smash record, and, crucially, it doesn’t disappoint at all. It’s got repetitive elements, and the deliberate rasp in his voice will stand out to listeners as well.
With Flipp’s succession of singles here following his aforementioned one, he’s starting to build a sonic fingerprint for himself, and that’ll bode very well going forward with the increasing saturation of the rap scene.
