Fats’e Youngburial is on our pages today with an emphatic new single that finds the talented singer and producer ditching his previous self-doubting tendencies. The grungy new offering finds the enigmatic vocalist making a defiant change in his approach as he begins to use his doubts as sources of motivation rather than anguish. Over the distorted vocals, Youngburial makes it clear that “I’m done wasting my time” on the infectious new single. The aptly named single, “i am so confident and cool af and all the cuties want me” is also a decidedly more energetic release than Burial’s preceding single, “yuletime voices in my head”, however, both singles show off the talented young lyricist’s versatility and vulnerability.
