The best talent is often indefinable

I’m not exactly sure how to label this one. Soft-punk-rock/hip-hop maybe? If you’re a fan of Trippie Redd or the late great Juice Wrld, you’ll understand. It feels like when the BMX world collided with the urban underground market circa Dave Mirra BMX. It’s exploring a scene, and when meshed well, it’s clear it does work. Fats’e grabs help from shinigami, and 93feetofsmoke for his record “Old Me”. The record sounds like a top 20 song for radio play. The production feels a pop-y and clean, but the subject matter is pretty gritty. Nothing like you’d hear in a typical pop record. In the video, it’s Fats’e and his crew hanging out, playing one intense game of basketball. Taking over the blacktop and mobbing out at the same time. Enjoy this visual now.
