A serenading vibe from Texas.

Dallas, Texas recording artist Falak Fahim is back with two heartbeats of songs that put the vocals front and center of singing soul backdrops. Think piano bars, tuxedos, porcelain, bowties, caviar, mic stands, open bars, balmy weather, innocence, longing, weddings, slow dances.

On “Lettin’ Me Down”, Falak Fahim invokes the 60’s. This is something out of an imagined Donnie & Joe Emerson session while they recorded “Baby”. The dreaminess, the honesty, the swing; it’s all there.

On “Lookin’ Right Through Me”, things get a little more soaked into R&B and indie-pop paired with some hip-hop elements.
