Oscar Welsh is bound to be a superstar in the near future and his DEBUT single/music video, titled “Get Yourself To Sleep”, is the only indicator that the audience needs in order to understand that. Oscar has only just turned 18 years old and he is already incredibly masterful. Oscar dawns from Ed Sheeran‘s hometown of Framlingham in Suffolk, UK and it is now apparent to me that Framlingham breeds extremely talented artists. The young phenom also produces, mixes and masters all of his own material as he is undeniably an all-around resounding talent. If you could not hear it in his cadence, Oscar’s prominent influences feature Stevie Wonder, Omar Apollo, and Loyle Carner but Oscar is in the process of carving his own distinguishable lane in the industry.

The music video is masterfully captured by Jake Mermagen and he creates the epitome of a feel-good music video as Oscar and his friends are just having a great time driving a car around a large rural property and it is too entertaining to look away. The viewer will see Oscar’s confidence and bravado throughout the whole visual as it is apparent that he is simply a natural and made for this. I cannot stress how bright Oscar’s future is enough and I can only hope that everyone finds a new favorite artist as a result of this perfect song.
