Era Hardaway and Doe$ki are two of Virginia’s biggest rappers at the moment, thanks to their unconventional rap styles and steely cool personas. The two come together for the fearsome “Free Rich,” making use of some newfangled trap production to pay tribute to an incarcerated friend.

The video, shot by Vontae Knight, makes use of various hues of blue to create a unique aesthetic that encapsulates the zaniness of Virginia artists like Pharrell and Pusha T, albeit more serious. “Free Rich” is the latest visual from Era’s previously released project The Juug Tape that can be found over on Apple Music.
