Drake’s year has become an extended victory lap lately. The 6-god has become a worldwide sensation with over 220 million records sold and now has a diamond plaque to call his own thanks to the unparalleled success of “God’s Plan”.

This news comes from the RIAA, the company responsible for keeping track of album sales and certifications. This news comes on the heels of Drake‘s 2018 anthem “God’s Plan” going Diamond, which puts the artist in rare company. At this point though, it seems Drake is competing with himself and no one else. Earlier this year RIAA announced that Drake was the new top digital singles artist with over 142 million digital single sales. All of these numbers are staggering, but Drizzy doesn’t show any signs of slowing down anytime soon.
