This one was unexpected. Doughboy Sauce is on our pages today with an infectious interpolation of Ella Mai‘s hit “Trip” that he’s flipped into an anthem for him and his set. The new single, “Crip Crip”, follows a nearly identical instrumental and progression as Mai’s original but with Sauce inserting his signature bravado over the top. The heavily blue-themed video shows Sauce’s ability to flex his vocal abilities on the subdued single as he maintains control of the piano-driven instrumental.
