L.A.-based musician Doja Cat had a breakout year in 2018 releasing her self titled album Amala, dropping a vivid video to “Go To Town”, and setting ablaze with the explosive success of her effortless viral hit “Mooo!” a playful track with an adorable, lo-fi video with her dancing in front of a free screen dressed in a cow-spotted bottom and top.
Coming together with Rico Nasty a rising star who had an equally terrific past year, celebrating the release of her Atlantic Records debut project Nasty, performing ” Countin’ Up” on COLORS, and collectively racking up millions of views on her YouTube posted music videos for “Rage”, “Smack A Bitch”, and “Trust Issues”.
Girly, creative and cute, this neon colored visual is bursting with bright settings and bright color palettes that are quite eye-catching. Over an engaging, high energy beat with some funky bass in the back, Doja spits self-gratulatory rhymes the energizing production, Rico comes through with an aggressive and confident verse showing the boldness and charm that’s made her such a loveable act. With their distinctive styles and utilization of amazing aesthetics, this collaboration came out amazing.
