The alternative hip-hop artist Deadvoss will release his debut album Hades Detox Current on the 31st of August, on which he reflects on his history with drugs, addiction and impulsive behavior. Deadvoss is originally from a small town in Finland called Loviisa. Hades Detox Current differentiates itself from the hiphop scene with melancholia and aggressiveness.

Deadvoss is considered alternative due to his combining of genres, which include black metal, punk, RnB and trap. Also, his lyrics differ from the mainstream by being cryptic and mysterious. The melancholia and aggressiveness of Hades Detox Current roots from his bad experiences with drug addiction. The track Cemetery for example, is based on a nightmare he had while trying to quit drugs.
