Los Angeles based artist & producer, Danny Dwyer, is back to caress our eardrums with his silky, soulful sound on his newest release titled “Honest”. Danny makes it clear at the beginning of the song that both he and his lover have “options”, meaning they are choosing to make the decision to feel the way they do about each other and don’t necessarily have to be involved. The instruments and cadence of the track delivers a slow swaying melody, yet has an upbeat tune and feel to it as well.

“I think we are from different dimensions/we met by accident, no intention” Danny talks about how he was connected to this person through destiny, for a reason. Danny then uses the chorus to communicate to his love interest that he is done playing games–hinting at the fact that it might not be working out between the two of them since he speculates that she may not feel the same way about him as he does her. We’ve all dealt with those feelings associated with confusion & rejection, making this track definitely one for the books.
