We’ve sung Canadian artist COTIS‘ praises before, and, here, we get to sing them again. The genre-blending artist from Vancouver just released his debut project, and, with two new tracks on top of four existing ones, there are both familiar and fresh vibes present.

New pieces “Blame” and “Movie Scene” give us what we like about the young artist: interesting production choices, an elastic flow, and a superior sense of melody, and, in the context of the whole project, they fit in extremely well. Producer Martin Wave, is, in part, responsible for this, and, together, he and COTIS make for an incredibly dynamic team.
