South Korean singer-songwriter and producer, Colde, formally known as Kim Heesoo, appears on A COLORS SHOW stage for the very first time and even though this is my first time being introduced to the artist, I’m undoubtedly sure that this will not be the last time hearing his name.
Holding a pen in hand, Colde stands confidently in an all black fit—singing with a voice so light and delicate over guitar chords that remind me of Stan Getz’ “Corcovado”. The beat drops and Colde’s energy reemerges with perseverance.
“As it flows/I prove it under the sky/I am always in freedom/Leave a comment about my life/It must be history..” Colde’s lyrics are tenacious, holding a paramount message of being spiritually self-sufficient. The calm, cool & collected vibe Colde emits is intimidating yet welcoming—as you can read that he is unquestionably comfortable in his own skin. His energy mixed with his musical capabilities glisten and radiate all throughout his performance, giving his viewers something truly compelling to witness.
