CheckTheStar is back with a new music video for his song “Drunk Driving” featuring Dq4equis, produced by K-Cook. The Florida artist teamed up with well-known director ShotByOz bringing us a relatable visual of a drunk in love artist going through the hardships of life. The track is from CheckThestar’s most recent project Casting Calls which features a lot of versatile artists such as Famous Kid Brick, Yung Trav, Light Skin Marcus, and more. The video opens up with a scene where CheckThestar is looking to drive home after a crazy night of drinking after being reminded of his ex-girlfriend. In the sense, He is stumbling all over the place and is clearly too far under the influence to be driving. Lucky for him, Dq4equis and friends are there to take away his keys and get him home safely.

Smooth 808's over a light guitar melody with some classic trap drums, CheckThestar kicks the song off with a catchy hook. “Crash my whip and hope to die, lost my mind, I’ve been drinking all night” will be stuck in your head after just a couple of listens. His vocals are so unique, you really feel the emotions he’s expressing. We can’t forget about Dq4equis though, he comes in hot with his flow, talking about drinking, getting to the money, and avoiding the cops.
