Andre 3000 plays Jimi Hendrix, in the upcoming John Ridley directed biopic, JIMI: ALL IS BY MY SIDE. Unfortunately the film is unapproved by the Hendrix estate and none of Jimi’s music will be featured in the film. Instead Andre, as Hendrix, will be performing songs by Muddy Waters, Elmore James and The Beatles.
