Chance the Rapper made headlines when he embarked on the Be Encouraged tour and featured a series of major label mockeries on a LED screen. The jabs included A Titanic (Atlantic) Records, Undiverse (Universal) Records, Don’t Join Recordings (Def Jam) & more, but it was specifically his Can’t Do Math (Aftermath) punch that seemed to take a toll on the No Problem rapper.
In a series of early morning tweets, Chance publically apologized for “publicly disrespecting their hard work and contributions to music.” Indie artists reverse the right to talk shit about any label they please, but Chano might’ve taken it a bit too far by dissing one of the most organically grown organizations in music history.
