Real music is still alive

If you’re familiar with Brent Faiyaz or, better yet, a day one fan of his music, this release will knock you off your feet. With his single “Fuck The World (Summer in London)” that dropped back in July of this year, that was the moment that I knew I was completely locked into his artistic nature & the ever so elusive, in-your-face confidence that defines his personality through his lyricism.

With “Rehab (Winter In Paris)” acting as somewhat of a follow-up to his previous single, the track takes on a lighter sound and approach, meanwhile the lyrics still carry that bold & straight forwardness that he is known for. Known for his incredible storytelling, it’s easy to visualize the narrative of this song, always keeping things real and on front street. R&B singer-songwriter, Kehlani, makes an appearance in the video as well – totally unexpected but, so absolutely necessary for the overall aesthetic seeing that her vibe fits the setting so perfectly. Watch Brent as he depicts his world and what that looks like for him through his perspective.
