Boris The Lucid of IIIDAZE continues to show that he’s one of the most exciting new voices coming out of Virginia. His unconventional style continues to spurn poignant hits that alternate between loving serenades about romantic encounters and lo-fi tunes that exist at the intersection of creepy and moving. His latest release “FEIGNING” by way of DJ boygirl, falls into the latter category, being a slow-burning, more gravelly sound than we’re used to from him. AWGE signee TREEZLOWKEY joins Boris on this release, showing a dual helping of the imagination that Virginia artists bring on wax. Props go to producer Andy McMann for being able to effectively create a backdrop for both creatives to explore.
