We’re back a new set of visuals this week with a quality handful of small-screen productions that had us coming back. From G4shi to Maryland acts like K.A.A.N. and Why Fi, there’s loads of great videos and tracks down below. Some artists you might be familiar with, but we’re sure you’ll find something new you’ll like.

Check out this week’s picks after the jump and let us know what you think!

K.A.A.N. // STILL

@kaanlifemusic

When you talk about consistency, there’s few underground artists that are as consistent and talented as DMV rep K.A.A.N. The young emcee crash lands on our pages with a hella dope visual for his track “STILL.” His blisteringly fast flow rides the Cashflow production like a damn stallion, and all adds up to a dope end product overall. Look out for more from him soon, he’s one of the most purely talented rappers I’ve ever in a long time, and he’s got something to say.

Why Fi // Cold Nights ft. Menlik Zergabachew

@iamwhyfi | @menlikz

Why Fi and Menlik Zergabachew’s “Cold Nights” was given the visual treatment this week, as the Maryland natives teamed up with buzzing director Unkle Luc for a tripped-out visual. It’s a mega-soulful and personal record from these two, who’s styles combine wonderfully over the slow-burning, jazz-influenced production.

G4shi // Personal

@G4shi

G4shi has been a favorite of mine for some years now, and has only gotten better. His latest visual effort comes in the form of “Personal,” a from-the-heart track that is brought to life with a piercing one-take video from G4shi, who also directed the visual. He’s one of the most well-rounded artists buzzing right now, and I very much look forward to what he’s got on the way.

Forest // Movie

@youfoundforest

Rising California artist Forest hits our pages with a hella sharp visual for his track “Movies.” It’s a hard-hitting record that’s wonderfully brought to life, with Forest’s bursting energy and sharp delivery add a whole other dimension to the video overall. Look out for much more from him, as he’s without a doubt one of the West Coast’s best-kept secrets.
