Charlotte, NC native, and neilaworld member Belis follows up her impressive run of singles with a brand new visual for her cult-hit “Hysterical Glamour.” Her high pitched warbling is the type of sound that sounds questionable on paper, but Belis has become the type of performer that takes this from a novelty to a sound to be reckoned with, as she continues to amass a sizable internet following.

Belis is an interesting artist and I think most people who watch the underground closely are all also quite impressed with her vocal abilities and personal magnetism. I would not be surprised at all if she positioned herself for a more mainstream run in the near future, as her bubbly and glittery sound would lend well to a large variety of listener bases.
