From Paris to Queens, Bas has always had an interesting story. Now he has one of the best albums of the year. Again.

It’s been two years since we were last blessed with a Bas album. Dreamville‘s not-so-secret weapon is one of the nicest out behind the microphone. There are few better storytellers and the pairing with Dreamville has been a seamless one, propelling Bas and others to stardom.

The Milky Way is a fourteen-track masterpiece with standout songs like “Barack Obama Special” & “Purge” highlighting Bas’ impressive array of flows over some incredible production. The album’s lead singles “Tribe” & “Boca Raton” were also met with some considerable success.

While we all enjoy a nice J Cole cameo like the one above, Bas still commands all the attention on the project, his first since the release of Too High To Riot two years prior. It was worth the wait.
