XXXTENTACION’s Legacy Lives On

The BAD VIBES FOREVER album release museum experience and show is something that will be placed in history, the closing of a beautiful chapter that will welcome in another. During the day there was a free museum experience for all to see, baby pictures of a young XXXTENTACION were exhibited, alongside mugshots, pictures of him as a teenager and more. Even the vehicle in which he was last seen alive in was being exhibited in the museum experience; I feel the idea behind this is to take power back from the situation itself, transmuting the energy from a very negative experience to a more hopeful, no need to fear mentality. Let us remember X as the person and artist he was, focused on positive change and reaching the youth with a message of faith and hope; you too can change your life for the better with just a bit of self awareness and belief. The pieces were put together by Tyler The Creator’s Creative Direction team and XXTENTACION’s family.

The motivation that ran Jahseh’s life was energy. There was no lack of energy at the Bad Vibes Forever midnight release held at a venue in the Wynwood Arts District in Miami, Florida. Performances from Diplo, Members Only, Robb Banks, Yung Bans and Playboi Carti lit the crowd with excitement. Constant jumping, screaming and reciting of lyrics pumped the performers to radiate to life throughout the night. The album is in tune with many of the emotions of the youth, of feeling lost, helpless and the sadness that comes with losing such a young legend so early. It was also filled with joy, you could point in any direction of the crowd and feel the joy of being blessed to be there. With limited merchandise and limited amount of people allowed inside, the crowd was filled with people coming to represent the love they had for Jahseh. Although it may seem like the end of an era to some, it’s the beginning of the reemergence of the Miami scene yet again. To those who went, it was an unforgettable night. For those who didn’t,  they missed out on an incredible opportunity. Check out photos below from the BAD VIBES FOREVER Album release party.
