Last December, I ran across an artist that’s I had never heard of before named, Sebastian Mikael and his brilliant new project, I C U U C ME, PT. 1. Immediately, he became one of my favorite artists due to his soulful vocals and his glaring similarities D’Angelo. Today, he drops off a dope new video for one of the EP’s standouts, “DAD”.

Shot at popular New York City venue, Baby’s All Right and directed by Jonathan Riggs, the video is set to the backdrop of a real-life headlining show for Mikael and his band, which helps to drive home some of the more intimate lyrics in the song due to the venue’s environment. Encouraging assistance from $ean Wire, Sebastian and Wire place the crowd in a trance with his high-pitched, incredibly impressive vocal range that is certainly one-of-a-kind.
