Midwest crooner Appleby is by far one of my favorite artists I’ve heard in a long while, and he’s been coming correct with each and every release of his since I heard “Drinkin'” and “Scars In Waiting” almost a year and a half ago. The culmination of his growth and development as an artist comes today in the form of Down Dance, his debut EP, entirely produced by Elias Abid.

He sings and raps with marvelous vigor and passion throughout the four-track offering, with fan favorite “Castles” and the recently-released “Random Love” acting as the meat between the masterfully-sliced bread that is “99” and “Overdose.” Together, the four tracks combine for a project that will instantly have you wanting more from App, who still has his debut full-length album in the works.

For now, enjoy Down Dance above and enjoy.
